"Stopped in here when it was busy. The food came out pretty quickly and was delicious. We had a Greek salad, chicken shorma and beef Mac and cheese. All super good. The feta on the Greek was so good!"

"I’ve tried the chicken shawarma at Yasmin Express multiple times, and it’s always been excellent. But what stood out even more was their hospitality. A couple of times, I was short by just 2–3 ringgit because I usually carry only my day’s travel cash (I’m a tourist from India and keep the rest in my locker). Even then, they were incredibly polite and still served me without any hesitation. Not all shops show this level of kindness, especially in tourist areas, and I genuinely appreciated it. Delicious shawarmas + amazing people = definitely worth visiting!"

"We really enjoyed our chicken shawarmas with cheese. We also got a strawberry milkshake and avocado milk. We found the service quite friendly, based on some reviews, we thought it was going to be rude, but we were met with a smile. Only thing we would feedback is that we would have liked more chicken, felt like it was a little light."

"The food here was delicious! Extremely busy every night but managed to get a table (just!) :) The hummus was wonderful, so smooth. And the bread thay it comes with was fantastic! Falafels were really tasty, garlicky and not too dry, and the Mac and cheese had an incredible cheese pull. The only downfall was that my partners shawarma (main) came out first, then the rest of our food about 10/15 mins later so it was a bit scattered. Sauce that came with the wraps was really tasty too!"

"Shawarma was great. Salads were very tasty. The drinks were unusual and super. The lemon mint was killer, and the avocado milk was smooth and creamy but not too rich. Drinks were not overly sweet. Two nights in a row so far and we will make it three for sure. Try the Kunafa for dessert; it was the best I have ever had."

"The food was amazing and in big portion. Highly recommend the lamb rice, the flavor and tenderness can not be described by words, have to try in person. Beef hummus and pancake are extraordinary, everything is authentic. Watermelon juice is also great. 12/10"

"My wife and I were here this evening (3 DECEMBER 2025) for dinner as recommended by our hotel concierge - we are both local tourists from Johor Bahru. And the recommendation turned out to be excellent. We ordered the following: a Shish Tawook with Mandi Rice, a Mix Shawarma, and a Fatosh. All of the aforementioned were excellent and it was one of the Leviathan meal that we have had - and we are not unfamiliar with this type of cuisine. Service here was good - very friendly, helpful and prompt. The dining ambience here was comfortable - we sat in the air-conditioned section, and not the alfresco section. I highly recommend this place for its excellent Leviathan cuisine."
